Belgium is full of beauty – from misty forests and cobbled alleys to towering castles and colourful market squares. Unfortunately, for the past 15 months a spinal problem has limited how much I can walk and get out with my camera. But that doesn’t mean the discoveries have to stop.
That’s where you come in!
I know many of you – whether you’re an amateur photographer, an avid Instagrammer, or someone who just loves taking snapshots on your weekend walks – are capturing beautiful scenes of Belgium every day. I’d love to showcase your work on Discovering Belgium – so that together, we can inspire even more people to explore this wonderful country.
What Belgian photos am I looking for?
I’m on the lookout for authentic, eye-catching photos of Belgium, including:
- Beautiful landscapes & nature trails
- Castles, abbeys & historical sites
- Cycling routes & walking paths
- Street scenes & city squares
- Quirky corners, hidden gems & artistic details
- Series of photos of a specific location.
Whether it’s a moody shot of a forest in the Ardennes or a sunlit square in Ghent, your photos could be just what Discovering Belgium needs.

Send it by email to me.
Please include:
- Your name (how you’d like to be credited)
- Your Instagram handle or website (so I can link to you)
- A note on the location of the photo (to help readers visit too!).
If I feature your photo, I’ll:

- Tag you when I share the post on my social media
