Stop searching Google, and use this new eBook. This unique resource lists over 550 outdoor children’s activities in Belgium.
Looking for somewhere fun to take the children or grandchildren for some fresh air and exercise? Well, you have come to the right place, because Discovering Belgium has some great suggestions. Plenty of them. More than 550!
I have created an eBook with over 550 suggestions for children’s outdoor activities in Belgium. These include:
- Children’s playgrounds
- Forest play areas
- Outdoor swimming
- Children’s farms
- Kayaking
- Donkey rides
- Mountain-biking
- Alpaca farms
- Adventure playgrounds
- And many other activities.
The lists of activities are divided between the ten provinces of Belgium, and there’s a separate list of activities in the Brussels-Capital Region. All the locations are alphabetically listed. And each activity is hyperlinked to more information.
City playgrounds too!
That’s not all! In addition, the eBook includes:
- 100 children’s playgrounds in the city of Antwerp
- 150 children’s playgrounds in the city of Brussels.
Clicking on the name of a playground brings you to its exact location on Google Maps.

EVERY PURCHASE SUPPORTS CLINICLOWNS!
Of course, many children can not get out to playgrounds for reasons of illness or hospitalization. To bring some welcome fun to these children, Discovering Belgium is supporting the work of Cliniclowns. This is a super organization that, to quote from their website “sends professional clowns to sick and disabled children in hospitals and other care institutions. These clowns provide a great service to distract these children from their illness and empower them to deal with the difficult situation they are in.”
10% of every sale will go directly to Cliniclowns.

Wow Denzil, what a great resource for parents and grandparents. And a worthy charity to direct funds too. Well done.
Thanks Carol. Unfortunately it doesn’t extend to Australia. Yet!
Get to work then! I’ll be your first customer when it’s ready. 🙂
Sweet!
Lovely and worthy, project, Denzil. Nice!
Thanks Pat, I’ll do one for the States next.
Great idea Denzil, congratulations!
Thanks Andrea, it was fun to make.
Great idea, Denzil! Those clowns don’t look scary.
Thanks Audrey. No, thankfully!
Excellent initiative, Denzil! I’m sure that your eBook fills an important need as families return to outdoor activities.
I believe it does Rosaliene. The alternative is to search Google and try to find something, which as we all know can be time-consuming.
