Looking for Belgian heroes

Here’s a short, delightful and informative musical video celebrating a number of well-known Belgian heroes.

Recently, I received an email from Discovering Belgium reader Martin Watson; a Brit who became a Belgian citizen in 2017. He co-runs SW Visions. Martin loves Belgium, and spent part of the summer travelling around the country. He’s made a delightful musical video of his endeavours. It’s a unique and joyous celebration of Belgium and some of its heroes.

Martin wondered whether Discovering Belgium’s readers might be interested. I told him: “Definitely.” Here’s the video. Enjoy!

Thanks Martin!

I created Discovering Belgium in 2011 to share the country’s hidden stories, fascinating places, and remarkable people. Through articles, photography, and audio walks, I share discoveries that reveal Belgium beyond the obvious. Hope you enjoy this site.
