Technopolis Celebrates 25 Years of Innovation and Science

What is Technopolis?

Ever wondered how things work? Technopolis brings science and technology to life with over 350 interactive exhibits that reveal the secrets hidden in everyday objects. Experiment, play, and discover – it’s learning the fun way! Established in 2000, visitors of all ages have engaged with a multitude of exhibits designed to make science accessible and fun.

I can highly recommend Technopolis

Our family first visited Technopolis a few years after it opened. Our children would have been around 13, 11, 9 and 8 years old. My parents accompanied us. I remember my Dad, a mechanical engineer, becoming engrossed with the very first exhibition, explaining it in great detail to our eldest (the other three had wandered off to discover what was around the corner). Eventually after 20 minutes I had to return and point out that there were hundreds more exhibits, and we should really “get a move on”. I think he would have been happy to spend all week in Technopolis. The day was fun, if exhausting, but we all agreed that it was worth the money and I am happy to thoroughly recommend a day in Technopolis.
